Service Dog Nation is a Texas-based nonprofit focused on educating, advocating, and empowering women veterans through trusted service dog resources, public access and ADA education, community outreach, and support. The organization helps women veterans navigate the service dog world—especially those living with PTSD, anxiety, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), and other invisible wounds.
At Service Dog Nation, we focus on women veterans because they are one of the most underserved communities when it comes to mental health support, service dog resources, and understanding invisible disabilities. Many women veterans live with PTSD, anxiety, Military Sexual Trauma (MST), hypervigilance, and isolation—but often struggle to find support systems that truly understand their experiences.
We believe no veteran should have to navigate the service dog world alone. That’s why we are committed to educating, advocating, and empowering women veterans through trusted information, public access and ADA education, community outreach, and supportive resources. Our goal is to help bridge the gap between veterans, working dogs, and the support they deserve while raising awareness for the invisible wounds so many carry in silence.
